How To Become a CityVille Mayor

CityVille Guides: How To Become a CityVille Mayor

CityVilleThe first step in becoming a CityVille mayor is to just start building structures. You can’t become the mayor until you have enough structures on your game map. Start with building a few homes. Follow the quests to the left of your screen to help you understand how to play the game. You can increase your population by building what are called “municipal” buildings these can be found in your build menu. These structures will allow for more homes so you can grow your population.

Finishing Municipal Structures

CityVilleOn your way to becoming a CityVille mayor you’re going to need Facebook friends and sometimes parts to finish your municipal structures. You can also complete these structures by using game cash but it’s easier to just use Facebook friends. Click on the structure and send a request for each position the structure requires and once they accept you can finish the building. For parts you can request these from friends and some of them you can receive as gifts or you can just buy them with the cash you have on hand. You’ll need to finish these municipal building to open up the mayor quest.

Quests

The game quests are your key to becoming mayor of your CityVille city. These follow a bit of a story and you need to do all of them for the mayor spot. The quests aren’t difficult so just follow along and you will do fine. For example one of the earlier quests will get you to build the town hall, a bakery, a home, a chateau and so on. As these quests are completed you will be one more step to becoming a mayor of your CityVille city. There’s been a lot of confusion about how to become a mayor in the game it is really simple if you follow the quests as they are given in the game. You don’t become a mayor right away it takes a bit of time.

Mayor Quest (1000 Population Collect from Thirty Businesses)

To become the mayor you will need to finish a quest. First of all you’ll need 1000 population in your city so if you don’t have enough homes, start building. If your citizens become unhappy due to the crowding put up another municipal structure to counter the unhappiness. Next you’ll need to collect money from thirty businesses. This doesn’t mean you need thirty structures, just collect money thirty times and the quest will be completed. After this quest you’ll build a seaport and be well on your way to building a great city in CityVille.

Conclusion

CityVille is a great game and you’ll have fun playing it. Just remember that if you are new to the game to follow the quests on the left hand side of your screen. When you do quests they will teach you about the game and unlock the quest to become mayor of your new city.

One last note is to COMPLETE GOALS . Unless you're stuck at something , then you do whatever is necessary ; Harvest Crops , Get Money to Build , Energy (etc .)
-
I hope you find this Guide useful.

How does Expanding help ?

The more your population , the faster the goods inside your store's get sold . Thus , more money to expand your City .

Expand your Population , HOW ?

First , you need Community Buildings to increase your Population Cap.
Second , you need neighbours to be a part of the crew for your building , UNLESS you wanna spend City Cash (which you probably don't want) . Some of your neighbours wouldn't know that you need a crew for your building so you have to ask them nicely to be a crew member of that certain community building .
Third , you need to build houses for your people .

Space is Important

Space is important , Expanding your city cost 20,000 Coins and requires 1 permit , as you expand , the amount of permit increases too , from 1 to 2 to 3 etc . So how do you save up ? You don't use roads instead use PathWays , your citizens don't require roads to move around , they can also use the Pathways ; 20 Coins per Tile . Roads cover up 4x4 area of space , while Pathways take only 1x1 area of space , so which would you prefer ? The tiles should be placed on the doorstep of Housing Buildings leading to a stretch of Business Buildings explained on 'Getting Full Effectiveness of Your Buildings (mainly businesses)'

Harvesting CityVille Crops Quickly, actually Benefits You

Harvesting 10 CityVille Crops at a fast pace , get you to a Combo Bonus Metre (top right hand corner , the bar) to at least HOLY SMOKES  , which after that you can get a bonus of 180 coins . If you simultaneously collect from Rents , Businesses and Crops , you may get to a bonus level of up to Masterful , which yields you at least 850 coins . [Bonus > Excellent > Amazing > Outstanding > Holy Smokes> Extreme > OMGEEZERS > UNSTOPPABLE > INSANE> MASTERFUL]

What to Plant ?

I prefer to plant Eggplants ; 28 Coins Each or Strawberries ; 20 Coins Each (this is where Requirements number 2 and 4 come in) as they get you 30 goods every 1 hour per plot/15 Goods every 5 minutes per plot RESPECTIVELY . This can also benefit you in Requirement number 5 (how ? explained later on). Build a Coffee Shop ; 600 Coins , it gets you approximately 300 Coins , and stock it up with 50 goods , enough to get you covered for planting Eggplants or Strawberries.

Get the full CityVille Guide by clicking the image below:

Goods

Goods are pretty important as buying them is very costly and it is required to stock up your CityVille Shops/Franchises . You can get storage by Harvesting Crops or also by buying them through the Train Depot (not what i prefer) . Harvesting crops requires 1 energy per crop . That isn't much as you get 1 energy every 5 minutes , Refer below for a guide on how to get Energy .

Now , there are 3 ways to get energy , One is to get Energy by paying Cash (Definitely what nobody would want) Two is by Visiting neighbours Daily , Three is to Ask for Energy . Ways 2 & 3 require neighbours

Getting Full Effectiveness of Your Buildings (mainly businesses)

First off , Community buildings do not need to be on Roads/Pathways . Thus , you do not have to worry about placing it near roads to get it connected , unlike Business buildings and Houses . Now your business buildings need to be placed in an adjacent manner , as your citizens , will go from one building to the next (just right beside it) . You may want to get Decorations so you get a certain % bonus . A decoration that i really like are the Flower Patches ; 50 Coins Each . They take up 1x1 area of space . After a while, you will notice that you need more and more goods for your buildings . Also, placing tiles leading to a whole stretch of Business Building helps as your citizens have nowhere to go except business buildings . Imagine being stuck in a Land where you cannot stop spending and can't get out .

Is a Guide for Cityville Even Worth it?

I like to think of myself as being well informed about the latest generation of social networking games such as Farmville, Cafe World, Mafia Wars and Frontierville. That's why when I began to see guides for Cityville appearing I was surprised. I could understand that people might have needed guides for games such as Farmville, and Frontierville but I figured that Cityville must be just the same. Why would someone want a guide for another duplicate of Farmville?

By this point I was still just speculating, I had not actually played the game so I decided I should give it a shot and see if it could really be all that different. I was in for a real surprise. While there are many similarities between games like Frontierville and Cityville (after all it is a Zynga game) they are actually very different and require different strategies if you want to be successful. In no time of playing the game I had no coins, or goods and had no idea where I went wrong. I was a Frontierville pro and now I looked like a complete Cityville noob. It looked like Cityville was going to be a little more difficult to master than I had anticipated.

Because I have experience with similar games I was able to get on top of things but I still was not making very much progress. I finally decided that it was time to suck it up and put out some money. I figured that a guide wouldn't do much good for me so I began buying Cityville Cash and extra coins. After putting down $20 things were going great I was finally passing many of my friends and I jumped 5 levels in almost no time. This was bound not to last though. After all this progress I again fell into the same slump as soon as I ran out of cash and extra coins. I knew I was going to have to do something different if I really wanted to reach my Cityville goals.

I searched online and did some research and picked what looked to be the best guide out there. That guide was Cityville Domination. I was sceptical at first thinking that I was just going to come across some Frontierville rip off but boy was I wrong. The guide had secrets and strategies completely unique to Cityville and after following the easy to follow strategies I was progressing faster than I was when I spent the money on Cityville Cash. This would be different though, now I had the knowledge that would allow me to continue improving my city and surpassing my neighbors. When I bought the guide I was level 26 but now after only a week I am level 46 and well on my way to level 50. If you would like to have the same sort of Cityville success story I did don't hesitate and buy the guide yourself.

Is a Cityville guide really all that important?

I love playing social networking games. Farmville, Frontierville and Cafe World all tend to get me fixated on my computer screen for hours a day. Although nothing even compares to the game that got me so addicted there simply wasnt enough time in the day. That game is Cityville, Zyngas first ever game to have 3D rendered buildings and characters. Cityville is so fun that I couldn't even stop playing the game while at work! Although even after all this gameplay I was struggling to progress very fast and couldn't compete with many of my neighbors.

Many people that I have seen have been making it through the higher levels in no time at all, while I was taking double the time to level up and I was half their level. I wanted to find out what they could possibly be doing differently so I messaged one of the more superior players and asked for his secret. He was happy to help and said that he was in the exact same position as me less than a week earlier. He bought an online guide called Cityville Domination written by a Cityville guru by the name of Jason Stonewall. According to him, he was able to double his level in a matter of days and pass all of his neighbors by following easy to follow secrets and tips. I decided it was worth it to purchase a copy and I was surprised to see the level of detail and useful information provided in the guide.

You would be amazed at the ways that you can easily screw up a virtual city but believe me your city could be a complete mess and you might not even realize it. I was only at level 19 when I bought the guide after playing constantly for almost 2 weeks. Now after buying the guide and quickly changing up my city and following the guides outline I am a level 36 with multiple cinemas and skyscrapers and more goods and coins then I know what to deal with. The best part about all this is that I accomplished this in only 4 days after buying the guide! If you are having trouble getting the hang of things in Cityville or even if you are a decent level and need that something extra to get ahead of your friends or neighbors get this guide, believe me you wont regret it.

What exactly is CityVille?

Zynga have a new game out.
 It's called
CityVille

It looks remarkably similar to the old classic Sim City or FarmVille with a whole new injection of steroids or something.

Below is a CityVille Beginners Guide video in action:
